Lenore Brady Associate

Lenore did law school straight out of high school, but then detoured through acting (Toi Whakaari; the New Zealand Drama School), teaching in Japan (Nagasaki Ken), guiding at Parliament and then on the Routeburn, training in Psychotherapy (the Ashburn Clinic) to finally seeing the light.

Lenore has worked with us for eight long years now and was made Associate in March 2018.

Lenore stayed three years in Nagasaki prefecture teaching English and learning Japanese language and cooking. She tries to keep up her Japanese by practicing as she drives along in the car; if you see her doing this she is not talking to herself.

Lenore counts herself very fortunate to have Antony’s continued support and mentoring as she learns in the profession. Antony continues to supervise Lenore’s work in relationship property, estates, leases, employments and anything else that clients ask us to do.

She keeps in close contact with the former refugee family she helped settle in to Dunedin. Lenore has many interests outside of work, as Antony says it is good to have a crazy hobby or two. She loves yoga and walking and making food.

Lenore volunteers at the community law centre.

We share a kitchen on our floor and Lenore often brings in treats for us to share especially when there is a royal wedding or baby born.
